Moscow, SANA- Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov discussed on Wednesday with Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow Riyad Haddad the ongoing preparations for the Syrian-Syrian dialogue of Geneva.
“Attention during the conversation was focused on preparations for the start of intra-Syrian negotiations on the basis of Resolution 2254 of the UN Security Council, scheduled in Geneva for February 23 under the UN auspices,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The statement added that the meeting also dealt with Russian-Syrian economic cooperation.
