Damascus Governor explores urban development, reconstruction with “Khatib & Alami” delegation

Damascus, SANA- Damascus Governor, Maher Marwan, met Tuesday a delegation of international engineering firm “Khatib & Alami,” head by Dr. Najib Khatib, the company’s CEO and the Board Chairman.

The discussion touched on issues such urban planning, transportation, reconstruction, infrastructure, and smart cities.

The governor Marwan underlined the importance of expediting procedures, intensifying direct communication, and holding workshops in preparation for signing a comprehensive MOU between the two sides soon.

In turn, al-Khatib affirmed the company’s readiness to support the governorate’s efforts through providing advanced strategic visions and plans that would create tangible developmental impact.
