Damascus, SANA- The Ministry of Endowments, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Technology and telecommunications companies in Syria, represented by Syriatel and MTN, announced in a joint statement the launch of an integrated package of services tailored for Syrian pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj, coinciding with the commencement of the pilgrimage season.
According to the statement, Syriatel and MTN will offer significant discounts on call rates and roaming text messages until June 30, in agreement with all available telecommunications networks in Saudi Arabia (STC, Zain, Etisalat).
These packages will enable Syrian pilgrims to stay in touch with their families and relatives while facilitating access to essential information throughout this period. This initiative is part of the broader coordination efforts with the Ministry of Religious Endowments to provide affordable and accessible communication services for Syrian pilgrims this year.
