Doha, SANA-Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management, Raed Saleh, has met with the Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Peter Maurer, to discuss the challenges facing the Syrian people, with a focus on the issue of missing persons and the growing humanitarian needs.
During the meeting, which took place Tuesday on the sidelines of the 2025 Global Security Forum in Doha, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening humanitarian cooperation to address these challenges and support efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Syrians.
Qatar is hosting the seventh edition of the Global Security Forum, under the theme ” The Impact of Non-State Actors on Global Security,” from April 28 to 30.
