Damascus, SANA- Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mr. Abd El-Salam Haykal, discussed on Wednesday with a French delegation, headed by Mr. Jean-François Guillaume, the Special envoy for Syria, means of cooperation to develop the communications and IT sector.
“Talks between the two sides dealt with the Ministry’s plan to rehabilitate the communication sector and boost partnerships in order to provide best services for citizens,” the Ministry posted on Telegram.
During the meeting, both sides referred to the possibility of mutual cooperation regarding consultations and training in the field of IT.
Members of the French delegation expressed willingness of their country to help Syria reconstruct the country, Meanwhile, Minister Haykal welcomed enhancing cooperation in the interests of Syria and France.
