Damascus, Oct. 14 (SANA) Hamza al-Mustafa, adviser for European affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, met Wednesday with Christoph Weidinger, chargé d’affaires of the Austrian Embassy in Damascus, to discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them.
The talks also addressed political cooperation and potential areas for economic and development cooperation between the two countries.
Earlier on October 2, Mohammed Yaqoub al-Omar, director of the Consular Affairs Department at Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, met with Weidinger to strengthen consular relations between Syria and Austria and improve coordination on issues of mutual interest.
