Quneitra, April 8 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces advanced on Wednesday into the town of Ruwayhina in the northern countryside of Quneitra.
SANA reporter in Quneitra said that a force consisting of a tank and two vehicles entered the town, set up a checkpoint in the center of the town, and searched passersby before withdrawing from the area, with no reports of any arrests.
Earlier today, Israeli forces also advanced into the area between the villages of Tarnjah and Ayn Al-Nouriya in northern Quneitra countryside, where they established a temporary checkpoint, searched civilians, and then withdrew.
“Israel” continues its violations and breaches of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions into southern Syria, as well as assaults on civilians through raids, arrests, and land bulldozing.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, stressing that measures taken in the southern region are null and void under international law.
