Debris from intercepted drone causes damage in Quneitra

Quneitra, April 6 (SANA) — Debris from an Iranian drone intercepted by Israeli air defenses fell on Tuesday evening in the town of Khan Arnaba in  Quneitra countryside, causing material damage to a local bakery and several nearby homes.

Civil defense teams arrived at the site shortly after the incident, inspecting the area and assessing the extent of the damage. The evaluation is a preliminary step toward taking necessary measures and ensuring the safety of civilians in the vicinity.

Over the past month, parts of southern Syria, particularly the provinces of Daraa and Quneitra, have repeatedly witnessed falling debris from aerial interceptions carried out by Israeli forces targeting missiles and drones launched by Iran toward the occupied territories. These incidents have resulted in varying degrees of material damage.
