Damascus, Mar. 2 (SANA) – Syria’s Foreign Ministry said on Monday that Syrian passengers stranded at Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport will be transported by land to Damascus after regional airspace closures disrupted civilian flights.
The Ministry’s Media Department said accommodation had been secured for the 60 passengers.
The Department reported that the Syrian Embassy in Amman contacted Jordanian authorities to coordinate a quick solution. The passengers will be transferred through the Nasib border crossing.
Several regional states have closed their airspace amid ongoing U.S.–Israeli and Iranian military exchanges.
