Manama, March 7 (SANA) An Iranian attack on Saturday caused a fire and damage to a house and several nearby residential buildings in the Bahraini capital, the Bahrain Ministry of Interior announced.
In a statement posted on X, the ministry said civil defense teams immediately moved to extinguish the fire and contain the damage.
Earlier, the Bahrain Defense Force said its air defense systems had intercepted and destroyed 86 missiles and 148 drones since the start of Iranian attacks on the kingdom.
The command stressed that the use of ballistic missiles and drones against civilian buildings and private property constitutes a violation of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter and poses a direct threat to regional peace and security.
