Damascus, Jan.11 (SANA) The Syrian Development Fund (SYDF) said that the donation campaigns organized across a number of governorates over the past period were independent ones launched by civil entities, local committees and other platforms, and they are not considered as a part of the Fund’s activity or resources.
Officials at the Development Fund posted a statement Wednesday on Facebook saying that “the Fund’s main resources came from donations earned during the period of launching it officially on September 4th, 2025, in addition to a number of subsequent individual donations”.
The statement added that the fund is not affiliated with any donation committees or fundraising campaigns, as all information related to donations is published on its official website with complete transparency.
The Syrian Development Fund is a sovereign institution established by Decree No. 112 issued in June 2025, which aims to contribute to reconstruction and development of infrastructure and vital facilities through integrated development and financing programs.
