Civilians manage to leave Deir Hafer despite obstacles imposed by the SDF

Aleppo, Jan. 15 (SANA) A group of families from Deir Hafer in the eastern Aleppo countryside managed on Thursday to reach areas under Syrian state control after traveling along high-risk secondary roads and agricultural paths contaminated with mines, following the closure of main roads by the SDF organization.

A SANA reporter in Hmaymeh said the SDF continues to prevent civilians from leaving Deir Hafer through the humanitarian corridor announced by the Syrian Arab Army, forcing many families to seek dangerous alternative routes to reach safety.

Teams from the Syrian Civil Defense, along with ambulances, were deployed in the Hmaymeh area to receive and assist families evacuated from the towns of Deir Hafer and Maskanah, providing humanitarian aid and basic services.
