Hama, June 4 (SANA) Al-Wahda extended its winning streak in the Syrian Men’s Basketball League Final Six with an 83-79 victory over hosts al-Nawair on Wednesday at Naseh Alwani Hall in Hama.
The win marked al-Wahda’s seventh consecutive victory in the Final Six stage and strengthened its position at the top of the standings.
Al-Nawair led for much of the game, but al-Wahda mounted a late comeback to secure the four-point win in the closing minutes.
With the result, al-Wahda moved to 41 points at the top of the table. Ahli Aleppo is second on 39 points, while Homs al-Fidaa also has 39 points but remains third on points differential. Al-Nawair is fourth with 37 points.
The four teams have qualified for the Final Four, where they will compete for the Syrian Men’s Basketball League title.
