Homs, June. 4 (SANA) Residents and vehicles began crossing the strategic al-Rastan Bridge in Homs Governorate following its inauguration by President Ahmad al-Sharaa after the completion of rehabilitation and modernization works.
The reopening of the bridge marks the restoration of a vital transportation link connecting several areas in central Syria and facilitating the movement of people and goods.
The bridge is expected to contribute to supporting transportation networks, reducing travel time and supporting economic and social activity in the region following its rehabilitation and modernization.
