Aleppo, March 1 (SANA) Al Ittihad of Aleppo SC has signed Senegal’s Mokhtar Gueye and France’s Boris Dallo to strengthen its men’s basketball squad as it prepares to compete for the Syrian Basketball League title.
The club said on its official page that it reached an agreement with Gueye, 29, a 208-cm forward-center who played in the NCAA between 2017 and 2020 before stints with Menorca in Spain (2021–2022), Ferroviario da Beira in the Basketball Africa League (2022–2023), and most recently Unifacisa in Brazil.
Al Ittihad also confirmed the signing of Dallo, who has represented France at youth national team levels. The 196-cm guard-forward can play point guard, shooting guard and small forward, and brings experience from European leagues.
Dallo’s professional career includes spells with Real Betis in Spain, the Long Island Nets in the United States, Olympique Antibes in France, and appearances in the EuroLeague.
