Khan Sheikhoun and Al-Shorta secure wins in Syrian Premier League

Damascus, Dec. 26 (SANA) Khan Sheikhoun and Al-Shorta both claimed 2-1 victories in the opening matches of the second round of Syria’s Premier League.

Khan Sheikhoun and Al-Shorta secure wins in Syrian Premier League

Khan Sheikhoun defeated al-Ahli Damascus at Idleb Municipal Stadium, with goals from Mohamed al-Obaid and Mustafa al-Qad. Ahmed Amara scored the lone goal for al-Khan Sheikhoun Ahli Damascus.

Meanwhile, al-Shorta earned an important away win against Jableh, with Kamel Kawaya and Ryan al-Khaled scoring for the visitors. Mahmoud al-Bahr netted Jableh’s only goal.

The second round continues Friday with al-Wahda hosting Omayya at al-Fayhaa Stadium in Damascus. The match between Hutteen and Tishreen, originally scheduled for Friday, has been postponed to a later date.
