Damascus, Feb. 11 (SANA) Syrian and Swedish officials held talks in Damascus on Tuesday focusing on bilateral cooperation and the voluntary return of Syrian nationals living in Sweden, Syria’s Foreign Ministry said.
Qutaiba Kadish, director of the International Cooperation Department at Syria’s Foreign Ministry, met with Swedish Deputy Minister for Migration Anders Hall to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, the ministry said in a statement on its telegram channel.
The discussions also addressed the situation of Syrian citizens residing in Sweden and possible mechanisms to facilitate their voluntary return through the support for development projects in Syria
