Abu Dhabi, March 7 (SANA) The United Arab Emirates and Kuwait on Saturday called for an immediate end to Iranian attacks and for steps to protect their security and sovereignty amid rising regional tensions.
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, condemned Iranian strikes during a phone call, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Both leaders said the attacks were a clear violation of international law and urged a return to diplomacy to avoid further escalation.
Iran has launched missile and drone attacks on several Arab states, including the UAE and Kuwait, since last Saturday, following U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iranian territory.
