Kuwait, June 3 (SANA) Kuwait and the Arab Parliament have condemned Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting Kuwait and Bahrain, describing them as a dangerous escalation and a violation of international law.
Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry denounced the latest attack on Kuwait International Airport, which reportedly left one person dead and several others injured.
In a statement, the ministry affirmed that Kuwait reserves the right to respond in accordance with international law.
Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi also condemned the attacks, including strikes targeting civilian facilities in Bahrain, warning that such actions threaten regional peace and stability.
Al Yamahi expressed the Arab Parliament’s full solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain and called on the international community and the UN Security Council to take urgent action to prevent further violations and safeguard regional security.
Earlier on Wednesday, Kuwaiti authorities reported that hostile drones had struck Terminal 1 of Kuwait International Airport, causing significant damage.
Bahrain, for its part, said its air defense systems had intercepted and destroyed several missiles and drones targeting the country.
