Beirut, April 14 (SANA) Israeli airstrikes on Monday killed six people and wounded others in Beirut and southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese health authorities.
Lebanon’s National News Agency, citing the Health Ministry’s Emergency Operations Center, said “a strike of the Israeli enemy” on the town of Sir al-Gharbiya killed two people, while artillery shelling in Tibnin left one person dead.
Israeli warplanes also carried out multiple raids on towns in the Bint Jbeil and Tyre districts, killing three people and injuring several others.
The escalation comes as cross-border hostilities intensify, with Hezbollah militia targeting Israeli military positions along the border in recent weeks and Israel responding with air and artillery strikes extending beyond frontline areas into deeper parts of Lebanon.
