Beirut, April 13 (SANA) Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon on Monday killed several Syrian workers in the Tyre district, according to Lebanese state media.
Lebanon’s National News Agency said the strike hit an orchard near the town of Abbasiyeh, killing a number of Syrian laborers.
In a separate incident, an Israeli strike targeted a Red Cross facility in Tyre during the evacuation of an injured person, killing him and damaging several Red Cross vehicles. Another drone strike on the town of Sahmar in the western Bekaa region killed two people and wounded others.
Five people were also killed overnight in strikes on towns in southern Lebanon, as cross-border hostilities continue since March 2 following attacks attributed to Hezbollah. The violence has left thousands dead and injured, including Syrian nationals.
