Türkiye, China stress need to maintain supply chains, energy flows
Türkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi

Ankara, Mar. 25 (SANA) Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi stressed during a telephone call the importance of maintaining uninterrupted transport routes, supply chains and energy flows.

According to the Anadolu Agency, the two ministers reviewed the latest regional developments and ongoing efforts to end the war that has been raging since 28 February, stressing the “need to bring the conflict to an end as soon as possible”, and reviewed the initiatives undertaken in this regard.

They also affirmed that “keeping transport corridors, energy supplies and supply chains functioning without disruption is of critical importance.”

Analysts say the conflict with Iran is increasingly threatening to trigger a global economic crisis, pushing up energy prices, disrupting supply chains and raising defense costs worldwide.
