Abu Dhabi, May 4 (SANA)     The UAE Ministry of Defense announced Monday that it detected the launch of four cruise missiles from Iran targeting various areas of the country, stating that air defense systems successfully intercepted three of them over territorial waters, while the fourth fell into the sea.

The ministry said in a statement that sounds heard across different parts of the UAE were the result of air defense systems engaging the incoming threats.

It urged the public to rely solely on official sources for information and to follow all public safety procedures when alerts are issued.
