Doha, March 6 (SANA) Qatar Airways on Friday said it is continuing to suspend flight operations due to the ongoing closure of Qatari airspace.
According to the Qatar News Agency, the carrier will resume flights only after the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirms the airspace is safe to reopen.
The airline said it is working around the clock to organize additional relief flights and will notify passengers as soon as operations can safely resume. Travelers affected by the disruption will be contacted directly.
Air traffic across the Middle East is facing widespread disruption amid the US-Israel–Iran conflict, prompting several countries to temporarily close or restrict portions of their airspace.
Qatar Airways urged passengers not to go to the airport unless they have received official confirmation of their flights. Passengers are also advised to update their contact details via the airline’s website or mobile app to ensure timely receipt of information and instructions.
