Washington, April 15 (SANA) The White House announced on Wednesday that the U.S. is holding discussions regarding a second round of negotiations with Iran in Pakistan, expressing optimism about the possibility of reaching an agreement.
According to AFP, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told reporters that “these discussions are ongoing”, expressing confidence in the prospects of achieving an agreement with Iran.
Leavitt explained that it is likely that another round of talks will be held in Islamabad.
Pakistani sources earlier suggested the city could host the next round next week after the previous meeting ended without progress.
