Kuwait City, March 3 (SANA) French Embassy in Kuwait announced on Tuesday temporary closure to the public as a precautionary measure amid escalating tensions in the region stemming from the conflict between the United States and Israel on one side and Iran on the other.
In a statement carried by the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida, the embassy urged French citizens in Kuwait to strictly adhere to the instructions of local authorities and minimize unnecessary travel. The embassy building is temporarily closed to the public, and updates will be provided through its official social media accounts. The embassy advised its citizens not to visit the embassy during the closure period, emphasizing that it is monitoring developments in coordination with the relevant Kuwaiti authorities and remains available for emergency communication.
This measure follows similar announcements by the US embassies in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, which also announced temporary closures due to security concerns related to the rapidly escalating regional tensions.
