Tunis, March 1 (SANA) Tunisia on Sunday expressed its “absolute rejection” of any aggression against Arab countries, reaffirming its commitment to the principle of state sovereignty and condemning attacks on national territories.

In a statement carried by the Tunisian News Agency, the Foreign Ministry voiced full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Iraq.

The ministry called on all parties to immediately halt military operations, prioritize dialogue and avoid further escalation to prevent civilian casualties and protect the region’s resources.

“Tunisia is following with deep concern and grave anxiety the serious military escalation in the region and the risks of the conflict spreading and descending into chaos,” the statement said, warning of the threat posed to regional and international peace and security.

The ministry also urged the United Nations Security Council to assume its responsibilities and take necessary measures to preserve international peace and security.

Since Saturday morning, Iran has launched ballistic missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan, drawing widespread condemnation. The attacks followed a joint U.S.-Israeli strike on Iranian territory.
