President Abbas: Qatar’s Security is integral to Arab and Islamic National Security

Doha – SANA

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas stated that the recent Israeli attack on Qatar represents a serious violation of international law and poses a threat to Arab, regional, and global stability.

In remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA) ahead of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha, Abbas emphasized that “Qatar’s security is an inseparable part of our Arab and Islamic national security. We stand united in confronting these aggressions.”

He called for a unified Arab-Islamic stance and urgent diplomatic measures to hold Israel accountable for its repeated violations against Qatar, Palestine, and other Arab nations.

A number of Arab and Islamic foreign ministers arrived in Doha today to participate in the preparatory meeting for the emergency Arab-Islamic summit scheduled for tomorrow to discuss a draft statement regarding the Israeli attack last Tuesday that targeted residential buildings in the Qatari capital, which was widely condemned.
