Occupied Jerusalem, March 16 (SANA) Three Palestinians were killed and several others injured after a wall from a previously damaged building collapsed onto tents sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinian media reported Monday.
Civil defense teams in Khan Younis said the wall of al-Ribat College collapsed onto tents set up by displaced families in the area, according to Palestinian media reports.
The collapse occurred in a building that had been damaged in an earlier Israeli strike, the reports said.
The incident highlights the risks faced by displaced residents across Gaza, where many families have erected tents near or inside damaged structures due to a lack of safe shelter.
On Sunday, three Palestinians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli strike west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, Palestinian media reported.
The Israeli attacks come despite a ceasefire agreement in the enclave.
