21 bus drivers held by terrorists near Kefraya and al-Fouaa freed

Idleb, SANA – 21 bus drivers who were held by terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham after being targeted while on their way to evacuate humanitarian cases from the terrorist-besieged Kefraya and al- Fouaa towns in Idleb were freed Tuesday evening, special sources told SANA.

The sources said the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) contributed to the efforts to bring back the drivers, noting that two inured persons and two dead bodies were among those who were returned.

On December 18, terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham targeted vehicles heading to Idleb to evacuate the injured and sick persons from the besieged towns. Many buses were burned and a number of drivers were held by the terrorists.
