Aleppo, SANA-More than 2300 terrorists and their families on Thursday left eastern neighborhoods on board buses and ambulances via al-Ramouseh crossing to Aleppo southwestern countryside.
SANA reporter said that nearly 1406 terrorists and their families left on two batches, the second included 1198 and the third 208 ones.
He added that the exit process will be continued through successive batches until evacuating the neighborhoods of Salah al-Din, Ansari, Nashhad and al-Zibdyah in the eastern side of the city from all terrorists completely.
Earlier, the first batch of buses and ambulances carrying terrorists and their families left via al-Ramouseh crossing to Aleppo southwestern countryside , supervised by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), SANA correspondent in Aleppo said.
The correspondent said the first batch included 951 terrorists and their families, adding that the remaining terrorists will be transported in successive batches until the neighborhoods of Salaheddin, al-Ansari, al-Mashhad, al-Zibdieh, all located in the eastern part of the city, are completely free from terrorists.
Preparations to evacuate the armed terrorist groups from the remaining eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city were taken under the supervision of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Earlier on Thursday, SANA correspondent in Aleppo said that a number of large vehicles and ambulances are present in a specific place in al-Ramouseh corridor south of Aleppo to move out the terrorists and their families of the neighborhoods of Salahuddin, al- Ansari, al-Mashhad and al-Zebdieh in the eastern part of the city towards Aleppo southwestern countryside.
Sounds of strong explosions were heard from the areas where terrorists are positioned caused by the terrorists’ detonation of their main positions and depots of weapons and ammunition, SANA delegate said, adding that columns of thick smoke rise as terrorists burnt their documents and positions which uncover the sources of their funding and providing them with weapons, money and intelligence information.
Takfiri terrorist groups, mostly linked to al-Nusra, Ahrar al-Sham and Nureddin al-Zinki terrorist organizations, had been present in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city, committing tens of massacres against the locals and using tens of thousands of civilians in these areas as human shields.
Over the past few weeks, Syrian army units secured the exit of thousands of families from dangerous areas in Aleppo via humanitarian corridors set up in coordination between Aleppo governorate and the Russian side.
