Aleppo Governor: Works underway to remove impacts of terrorism and restore services to Hanano residences

Aleppo, SANA – Aleppo Governor Hussein Diab stressed on Friday that efforts are being exerted to rehabilitate the services and the infrastructure in the neighborhoods cleansed off terrorism and secure the needs of the citizens who started to return to their houses.

The Governor, during a field visit to Hanano residences, stressed the Governorate’s keenness to help the citizens return to their normal lives , clarifying that work is being done around the clock to provide all services to the families and rehabilitate the damaged infrastructure and facilities in the area.

For their part, residents of the neighborhood expressed joy over getting rid of terrorism and getting ready to reconstruct what was demolished by terrorism in cooperation with the Governorate, stressing firm faith that all Aleppo neighborhoods and the whole country will be librated from terrorism soon thanks to the bravery of the Syrian Army and the allied forces.

The Governor also inspected the rehabilitation works of a road connecting Hanano neighborhood with its nearby neighborhoods to serve the families turning back. The road extends from Shihan Roundabout passing al-Castillo road and Baidin Roundabout until it reaches Masaken Hanano.

The field tour also included telephone office of Masaken Hanano and the big damage inflicted to it, where Aleppo Communication Director Mostafa al-Masri pointed out that the whole equipment is stolen, adding that the telephone service will come back soon to the residents through the micro connection as all technical teams have started to work.

During the past days, residents of Masaken Hanano started to return to their houses under the supervision of Aleppo Governor after units of the Syrian Army finished military operations, establishing security there and removing mines and explosives planted by terrorists.
