Moscow, SANA- Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed hope to establish cooperation with Washington for fighting terrorism in Syria, indicating that the Russian forces have inflicted “tangible losses” upon the terrorists in Syria.
Speaking at the Presidential Annual Address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Thursday, President Putin said that Russia hopes to unite efforts with the US for fighting a real danger which is the danger of international terrorism, indicating that the Russian military is working on achieving that goal.
Commenting on the military operation which was started by Russia against terrorists’ positions in Syria in September 2015, President Putin said that the Russian army and fleet have clearly proved their ability to work effectively away from the borders of the homeland, affirming that Russia will continue its war against terrorism.
