Damascus, SANA-Industry Minister Ahmad al-Hamu discussed on Monday with Igor Matveev, Senior Counselor at the Russian Federation Embassy in Damascus means of increasing the volume of trade exchange between the two countries and the export of some certain products, particularly the Syrian textile products to the Russian markets.
During the meeting, the two sides also discussed the participation of Russian companies in the rehabilitation and development process of the industrial companies which were damaged by terrorist acts, in addition to establishing joint industrial projects.
This meeting comes as part of measures to follow-up the outcomes of the visit of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin on November 21st to Damascus.
