Russian Security source: Kalibr-armed Frigate Admiral Grigorovich heads for Syria

Moscow, SANA- A Russian security source announced Thursday that advanced Frigate Admiral Grigorovich armed with Kalibr cruise missiles will head for the Mediterranean Sea to join the aircraft carrier group near Syrian shores.

The arrival of the Russian Frigate Admiral Grigorovich to the Mediterranean Sea will reinforce the aircraft carrier group the region, Russia Today website quoted the source as saying.

The Multi-tasks frigate is capable of firing missiles to targets in the sea and on the ground.
