Provinces, SANA – The Syrian Arab Army continued carrying out counter-terrorism operations on Saturday, inflicting losses upon terrorist organizations in Homs, Quneitra, and Daraa provinces.
Homs
A military source said that Army and Armed Forces unit destroyed four vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns used by ISIS terrorists in al-Mazbal village in the eastern countryside of Homs province.
Meanwhile, SANA’s correspondent in Homs reported that another army unit killed terrorist Ahmad Hasan Hamdan the leader of the so-called “Rejal Allah brigade” in al-Rastan area along with four members of his terrorist group.
Quneitra
Army and Armed Forces units killed a number of terrorists, injured others and destroyed their positions and vehicles which were loaded with arms and ammunition in Quneitra.
SANA reporter in Quneitra said that an army unit destroyed with a guided rocket a vehicle loaded with arms and ammunition for terrorist groups in the surroundings of the main square in Quneitra city.
Army units in cooperation with popular defense groups directed intensive strikes at dens and movements of terrorist groups at the outskirts of al-Samadaniyeh al-Gharbiyeh village and in al-Toloul al-Humr to the east of Hadar village.
The strikes killed a number of terrorists, injured others and destroyed their arms and munitions.
Later in the day, another army unit destroyed a vehicle carrying terrorists and ammunition on the road between Kafar Hour village and Beit Jen Farm between Damascus Countryside and Quneitra.
Daraa
An army unit carried out a military operation against Jabhat al-Nusra dens and fortified positions in al-Kark neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa Province.
A military source said that the terrorists’ vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns, were destroyed, and a number of them were killed during the operation.
It added that another army unit killed many terrorists and injured others in an operation against a Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group at the western entrance of Kaheel town, about 45 km east of Daraa city.
Other army units directed blows to terrorists’ gatherings in Busra al-Sham town where a number of vehicles that belong to the terrorists were destroyed.
A number of terrorists were killed and a rocket launcher was destroyed in Jamrin village to the northeast of Busra al-Sham, according to the source.
