Damascus, SANA – Temperatures remain around or slightly above average as the country is influenced by the Indian low pressure system accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be summery and misty in the eastern, al-Badiya (desert) and al-Jazira areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly of moderate speed, while the sea waves will be medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 37/21, Daraa 34/21, Homs 31/20, Lattakia 30/23, Aleppo 37/23 and Deir Ezzor 42/26.
