Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will continue to rise to become slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia (desert) areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 32/18, Daraa 31/17, Homs 29/16, Lattakia 28/20, Aleppo 30/17 and Deir Ezzor 34/20.
