Damascus, SANA – The temperatures continue to gradually rise to become 4 to 7 degrees above average as the country is affected by high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the wind will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
On Saturday, the temperatures will continue to rise to become from 6 to 9 degrees above average.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 34/18, Daraa 34/17, Homs 29/15 Aleppo 31/15, Hama 32/16, Lattakia 27/20 and Deir Ezzor 35/19.
