Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to rise to become 6 to 8 degrees above average as the country
is affected by low air pressure accompanied by western currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Metrology department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot, and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general , with a little chance to rain showers over the coastal area.
The weather will be misty and dusty in the eastern and al-Jazeera areas, with active blows of wind sometimes at day.
The winds will be southwesterly of moderate speed, while the sea waves will be medium in height.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 31/13, Daraa 31/12, Homs 31/12, Hama 34/11, Hasaka 31/12, Lattakia 30/14, Aleppo 30/10 and Deir Ezzor 35/15.
