Provinces, SANA- The Syrian Army Air Force continued Tuesday striking gatherings and fortified positions of terrorist groups of ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra.
Aleppo
The Syrian Air Force killed Tuesday scores of ISIS terrorists in strikes against their gatherings and destroyed their positions and vehicles, some equipped with machineguns, in Deir Hafer, Ereime and al-Bab in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province, a military source told SANA on Tuesday.
Army air strikes also resulted in destroying a position for ISIS terrorists in Maskana town, some 100 km southeast of Aleppo city, in addition to hitting gatherings and vehicles of ISIS terrorists in Tal Sh’eir and west of Oweijel in the farthest northeastern countryside of the province.
In Aleppo city, army units conducted precise operations against dens of terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in the neighborhoods of al-Marja, Karm al-Tahan, Qadi Askar, B’eideen and Karm al-Qatraji, destroying a number of mortar and artillery launchers which the terrorists use in shelling residential neighborhoods.
Idleb/Hama
The Syrian Air Force launched airstrikes against the fortified positions of terrorist organizations of Jabhat al-Nusra, Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement, Jaish al-Nassr, Ajnad al-Sham Islamic Union, al-Sham Legion and Jund al-Aqsa
in Hama and Idleb, killing at least 17 terrorists.
According to the military source said air strikes that hit terrorist targets to the north of Saraqeb city in southeastern Idleb resulted in killing a number of terrorists and destroying many of their vehicles.
To the east of Idleb city, the army air strikes targeted fortified positions of Jaish al-Aqsa at Taftanaz Airport, killing a number of terrorists and destroying a vehicle equipped with a machine gun.
The army’s air force also targeted vehicle convoys and gatherings of terrorists from different groups joined under “Jaish al-Fatah” in the villages and towns of al-Inkawi, Kafar Nabbouda, Qleidin, Abdin, Tal Waset, Tal Jazoum, al-Qahira, al-Mansoura and al- Msheik in the northwestern countryside of Hama.
Sources on the ground told SANA that the Syrian airstrikes that hit targets for Jaish al-Nassr and Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement in Kafar Nabbouda killed 4 terrorists and injured 7 others.
The sources added that 5 terrorists were killed and a vehicle was destroyed in an airstrike against one of the supply routes of Jaish al-Nassr terrorists between al-Jissat village and Kafar Zita town.
8 more terrorists were confirmed dead as a result of airstrikes on centers for Ajnad al-Sham Islamic Union, al-Sham Legion and Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement in the area surrounding Kafar Zita.
In the meantime, an army unit destroyed with two guided missiles a bulldozer and a BMP vehicle killing terrorists on board in al-Mansoura silos area.
In the eastern countryside of Hama, an army unit targeted with a guided missile a fuel tanker belonging to ISIS in Wadi al-Azib to the northeast of al-Sheikh Hilal village.
Homs
In the neighboring province of Homs, the Air Force destroyed fortified positions for ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organizations in Teir Ma’ale, Talbise, Deir Fuol, Ezzeddin, and the vicinity of Jizel oil field in the countryside of the province.
According to the military source, the Air Force also carried out sorties on ISIS gatherings in the north and east of Palmyra city and near Um Qbeiba village and west of al-Baredeh village in the eastern countryside. A number of terrorists were killed as their vehicles were destroyed.
Daraa
In the southern province of Daraa, units of the Army and Armed Forces foiled an attack for groups affiliated to terrorist organization of Jabhat al-Nusra against a military post in Daraa al-Mahata and destroyed two machinegun-equipped vehicles in the eastern countryside of Daraa Province.
The source told SANA that an army unit clashed with a terrorist group of Jabhat al-Nusra tried to attack a military post in al-Hammadin neighborhood , which resulted in destroying a terrorists’ position and killing a number of them.
Terrorists Mohamad Ahmad al-Hussein, and Ammar al- Yousef were identified among the dead.
Meanwhile, at the far east of the province, an army unit destroyed two machinegun-equipped vehicles for al-Nusra terrorists’ gatherings in Tal al-Sheikh Hussein, and Teloul Khleif.
