Damascus, SANA- Interior Ministry detected on Tuesday a number of crimes related to manipulation in the Syrian pound exchange rate and arrested the manipulators with big amounts of cash in their possessions in the provinces of Damascus, Lattakia, Hama, Aleppo and Sweida.
In a statement to SANA, the ministry vowed to continue chasing the manipulators in the exchange rate in the framework of the measures taken to fight the banking crimes and the manipulation in the Syrian pound exchange rate .
About 63 manipulation crimes were detected and 104 manipulators were arrested as of the beginning of 2016.
