Provinces, SANA – The Syrian Arab Army continued its counter-terrorism operations on Wednesday, killing many terrorists and destroying their hideouts, equipment, and supply routes.
Aleppo
The Army and Armed Forces destroyed dens and supply routes from Turkey to Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS terrorist organizations in the countryside of Aleppo countryside.
A military source told SANA that the operations against terrorists’ dens in Hayan town Tuesday night resulted in killing and injuring scores of terrorists from al-Nusra, ISIS and other Takfiri organizations and destroying vehicles equipped with machineguns.
In the southern countryside of the province, the army inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in personnel and equipment in al-Barqoum village, 27km out of Aleppo city.
Many hotbeds for the terrorist organizations were destroyed in the neighborhoods of al-Rashedden4, Bani Zaid, al-
Lairamoun, al-Ashrafiyeh and al-Naanaei square in Aleppo city in army’s continued operations.
Meanwhile, in Aleppo eastern countryside, an army unit targeted gatherings and positions for ISIS terrorist organization in Tal al-Hattabat village, destroying its hideouts with all arms and vehicles and killing all the terrorists inside.
Homs
11 terrorists killed
A unit of the army destroyed mortar launch-pads, two vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns for ISIS in Tal al-Kharoub al-Qabeer near al-Qaryateen in Homs countryside.
Earlier, field sources said that many terrorists in ISIS organization fell dead and wounded in a strike by a unit of army in Palmyra countryside.
The sources added that a unit of army clashed with a terrorist group affiliated to ISIS in al-Dweh area, 17 kM to the west of Palmyra city.
11 terrorists were confirmed dead during the clashes and three vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns were destroyed.
Meanwhile, terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages that unknown persons shot the Emir of Ahrar al-Cham movement in Homs Mohammad Hassan Rateb al-Saiyed nicknamed Abu Rateb al-Homsi in al-farhaniyeh al-gharbiyeh village in the surroundings of Talbeesehm, 13 kM to the north of Homs.
Damascus Countryside
Control established over new areas
Army units carried out concentrated strikes against positions and movements of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization to the northeast of Marj al-Sultan town in Damascus Countryside, according to field sources.
The sources told SANA that the army units established control over a number of farms and buildings in the area surrounding al-Nashabia town after killing many of the terrorists, including Abd al-Rahman Assad Allah, Ahmad Asfour and Yasser al-Boidani.
An army unit also destroyed two tunnels which link Harsta Farms with al-Hijaria neighborhood in Douma.
The sources also confirmed the destroying of mortar launch-pads and the killing of many terrorists in concentrated strikes launched by an army unit against terrorists’ dens in Misraba and to the east of Zamlka Bridge.
Daraa
Group of terrorists killed in Sheikh Miskeen
A Syrian Arab Army unit carried out a concentrated operation to the north of al-Sheikh Miskeen city in Daraa province on Wednesday.
Members of a terrorist group were killed and other members were injured during the operation, and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the killing of many of their members, including Alaa Nidal Abu al-Danaf and Ibrahim Farhan al-Bitari.
