More than 4 million school students start First Semester Exams

Damascus, SANA, More than four million school-students started Wednesday their First Semester Exams all over the country, which last till 14 January, Education Ministry said.

Al-Muthana Khaddour, Guidance Director at the Ministry told SANA that Education Directorates in provinces took all necessary and required preparations for the exams.

Minister of Education Hazwan al-Waz, while inspecting exams at a number of schools in Damascus, told reporters that Science and knowledge are the best weapons to face terrorism.

The First Semester Exams last till Thursday 14 January, where The mid-school year holiday starts on Sunday January 17th till Thursday January 21st.
