Damascus, SANA- temperatures continue to drop to become lower than average from 4 to 6 degrees as the country is being affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by a low air pressure with cold air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected, in its Saturday bulletin that the weather will be cold between clear and partly cloudy in general; frost is expected in the interior areas and the mountains at night.
The expected temperature degrees in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 10/-2, Daraa 09/00, Homs 06/-1, Hama 10/ -3, Hasaka 09/01, Aleppo 09/-2, Lattakia 15/06 and Deir Ezzor 10/02.
The winds will be northwestern of light to moderate in speed.
On Sunday, the temperatures will rise to become around average; the weather will be cold between clear to partly cloudy, frost is expected in some interior areas and mountains at night.
