Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will rise to become above average in most areas as the country is affected by a high air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a chance of rain over the northwestern and al-Jazeera areas.
The winds will be southeasterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/10, Aleppo20/9, Homs 19/9, Hama 20/8 and Lattakia 25/16.
