Syrian athlete wins silver medal at 2015 IPC World Championship

Doha, SANA- Syrian athlete Mohamad Khaled Mohamad won a silver medal at the javelin toss competition at the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championship currently held in Qatar.

The Athlete set a record of 41.85 meters at the competition, after he has set a world record of 43.05 meters in the javelin toss event at the Athletics Open Championships held in Sao Paulo last April as part of the 2015 IPC Athletics Grand Prix.

Mohamad won several medals at championships, including 4 gold and two silver medals in shot-put and javelin toss the athletics competitions held in February in the UAE, in addition to winning the world championship in shot-put in France in 2013.
