Four Turkish police officers killed in a bomb explosion southeast of Turkey

Mardin, SANA- Four Turkish police officers were killed on Thursday in a bomb explosion in Mardin province, southeast of Turkey.

“Four police officers travelling in a vehicle in Mardin province were killed when explosives were detonated as they passed by,” Hurriyet Daily News said.

The blast in Mardin province is the latest in a succession of frequent attacks against security forces , the last of them occurred last Saturday when a policeman was killed and two others were injured in a militant attack that targeted the Security Directorate in Nazmieh town , east of Turkey.
