South African solidarity delegation visits Damascus and Tishreen Military hospitals

Damascus, SANA- A delegation of “In Search of Truth” organization from South Africa visited injured army members at Tishreen Military Hospital in Damascus.

The delegation also visited Damascus Hospital and offered symbolic gifts to the injured soldiers.

Head of the delegation Bakr Maharqa said in a statement to SANA that the visit aims at supporting the Syrian people in the face of the

terrorist war, noting that this visit will be followed by high-level visits between the two countries.

Maharqa said in a message to the world that “Betting on the fall of Syria is doomed to failure and the people who have as much faith and determination must triumph.”

For his part, Pierre Bevly, a member in the Organization said “We are a group of civilians from South Africa…We want to work independently…We are concerned about the suffering of citizens in

other countries”.

Bevely promised to cooperate with the South African government to provide the Syrian people with necessary assistance.

Injured soldiers expressed appreciation for the visit of the delegation and the countries which stood by Syria, expressing readiness to sacrifice their lives to expel Takfiri terrorists.
