Provinces, SANA-The army and armed forces on Saturday carried out special operations against terrorist Takfiri organizations in different regions of the country, inflicting them heavy losses.
Damascus countryside
4,000 pills of the narcotic Captagon seized
Army units destroyed a mortar launcher and killed a number of terrorists in intensive strikes against their dens in Erbin, Douma and Harasta in eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside.
A total of 37 terrorists were confirmed dead in the operations.
In Zabadani city which is located in the northwestern countryside of Damascus, a number of “Ahrar al-Sham” terrorists were killed in operations launched by the Syrian army aided by the Lebanese resistance.
Scores of explosive devices and mines that terrorists planted in the area were dismantled.
On a relevant note, an army unit seized a car containing 4,000 pills of the narcotic Captagon (Fenethylline) which were being smuggled to terrorist organizations in al-Qalamoun area in Damascus Countryside and arrested the car’s driver.
Aleppo
Units of the army and armed forces continued to carry out strikes against dens and supply routes of the terrorist organizations in the northern Aleppo province.
A military source told SANA that units of the army last night and on Saturday morning killed a number of the Takfiri organizations’ members and destroyed their supply routes in bombardments carried out in Tal Musaibin village and al-Bab City in the northern and northeastern countryside of the province.
The source added that a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other Takfiri organizations were killed and a number of varied types of their machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed in operations carried out by the army against their dens in al-Mansoura village, 10 km to the west of Aleppo.
Meanwhile, units of the army destroyed a number of the ISIS dens and a number of their machinegun-equipped vehicles and killed scores of them in the surroundings of Kweiris Airport in special operations carried out in the eastern countryside of the province.
The army’s air force destroyed terrorists’ hideouts in Deir Hafer, Kweiris Sharqi and al-Jaberiyeh in the eastern countryside of the province.
Units of the army carried out special operations against hotbeds of Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in the neighborhoods of al-Rashidin, al-Layramoun, al-Sakhour, Bani Zaid, Bostan al-Basha, al-Sheikh Khudir and Old Aleppo.
The terrorist Takfiri organizations admitted on their pages on the social networking websites that a number of their members were killed including terrorist, Abu Abdu Anjara, the commander of the so-called “al-Sham Legion.”
Idleb
Supply routes and movements of al-Nusra terrorists hit
The army’s air force carried out air strikes against gatherings of terrorists and their hideouts in the areas of Hmeimat, al-Houteh, al-Kababari, Tal Salmo, al-Majas, Talab and al-Tiraa and Abu al-Duhour in the countryside of the northern Idleb province.
The air strikes left a number of terrorists dead and several of their vehicles, some of which equipped with heavy machine guns, destroyed.
Terrorists’ positions were also targeted in army air strikes in al-Bara, al-Sermaniyeh and Ghaniyeh in the southwestern countryside of the province.
Supply routes and movements of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were hit in army air strikes in Qatroun and al-Janoudiyeh near the border with Turkey.
Field sources affirmed that the terrorist Mohammad al-Hassan, leader of the so-called “Tow 1 Crew” group was killed during the army operations, along with one of the leaders of “Martyrs of Al-Ghab Plain Brigade”.
Army units supported by the Air Force destroyed dens and vehicles of terrorists from the so-called Jaish al-Fateh in Idleb countryside.
The Army Air Force killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles during air strikes against their hideouts in Um Jrein , Mhambel, al-Mastoumeh, Tramleh and south of Rakaya Sajneh to the south of Idleb city.
Near the administrative border with Hama, the Army’s Air Force carried out air strikes against gatherings and movements of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Sfouhin, Qastoun, Freekeh, Marj al-Zohour, al-Kfier, Kansafra, Bsames and Jozeph, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles and munitions.
Hama
Army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts in al-Amiqa, al-Qahira and al-Qarqour hill in the countryside of the central Hama province.
Homs
Army units carried out concentrated operations targeting hideouts and concentrations of ISIS terrorists in Palmyra city and the surroundings of Jazal oil field in the eastern countryside of Homs province.
Many terrorists were killed in the operations and their munitions were destroyed.
In Jeb al-Jarrah area, 73 km to the east of Homs city, an army unit killed a number of ISIS terrorists after targeting their positions in Um Sahrij village, destroying military equipment and munitions used by the terrorist organization in the process.
Another army unit thwarted an attack by a terrorist group coming from the direction of Rahoum village in the northern countryside towards Maksar al-Hosan, leaving most of the attacking terrorists dead or injured and destroying their weapons and munitions.
In the province’s northern countryside, an army unit targeted hideouts of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist groups in the villages of Ein Hussein, Ein al-Dananir, Kisin, Tallet Hesso, and Talbiseh, leaving many terrorists dead, injuring others, and destroying their weapons and ammo.
Daraa
An army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition as it targeted their hideouts to the south of al-Kark quarter in northwestern Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in the city of Daraa in the southern Daraa province.
Another army unit targeted terrorists’ hideouts and positions in the western part of Tafas town, leaving a number of them dead and their weapons and equipment destroyed.
Lattakia
The army inflicted heavy losses upon Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the northern countryside of the coastal province of Lattakia as it targeted their positions in various areas.
Many terrorists were killed by army air strikes in Salma, Ein al-Hour, al-Rab Mountain, Abu Risheh and Kitf al-Hariq, and the terrorists’ weapons and equipment were destroyed in the process.
Quneitra
A military source told SANA that an Army and Armed Forces unit targeted terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra with intensive gunfire volleys in al-Hamidiye village in Quneitra countryside, destroying one of their concentrations and assorted weapons and munitions that were in their possession.
